Favouring an impressionistic style, which invokes familiarity, yet intentionally distorting the geography, produces imaginative and unique compositions.
Working from photographs, I relish painting seascapes and landscapes, with acrylic on canvas.
My inspiration is sparked by the sea and New Zealand’s unparalleled native bush, painting more from an instinctual ‘feeling’ of a particular place and time.

Since discovering my passion for painting in 2007 I have enjoyed wonderful success.
My paintings have sold nationally in New Zealand and internationally, along with many requests for commission pieces.
Some artwork has been reproduced into beautiful prints, glass-like ceramic tiles, greeting cards and tote bags.
In 2023, I began tutoring Acrylic Art Workshops and Classes locally, which were a huge success.
In early 2025, due to demand, I started tutoring many more art classes and workshops, along with offering private tuition in your own home.

Acrylic painting classes are now available for beginners and intermediates in Beachlands, Whitford, and Clevedon.
Private lessons and boutique art parties are available by appointment.
