About Heléne Henare

BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION:

Helene Henare was born in Wellington, New Zealand and is currently living in the beautiful Ness Valley (near the rural village of Clevedon on the outskirts of Auckland).  She paints from her home which doubles as her studio (the original area School house/Church/Sunday School, circa 1877).

Helene paints with Acrylics, New Zealand’s wonderful Seascapes and Landscapes.  One of her biggest pleasures is seeing the viewer’s faces when they fall in love with one of her paintings.

Since discovering her passion for painting (just over 10 years ago), Helene has enjoyed great success with her paintings being sold nationally and internationally and has painted many commission pieces.   Her paintings are also reproduced into beautiful prints for sale.

Some of Helene’s successes are;
